'Teppanyaki'

Project made especially for Caucasus biennale declaration.

...Teppanyaki describes a form of Japanese cooking in which the cook performs a small show for the customers, constantly introducing new variations and tricks of cooking.)

wikipedia.com

so,why no a bit Japanese?

why not teppanyaki instead of an exhibition?

why not call what we do cooking instead of creating?

why not less art, more aBarti (title of magazine on which we work ar the timi)?

why not some fresh materials,a few artists, the same city?

Oil flower

Perfprmance, installation.

120cm/50cm

First source of petrol

I used petrol to print the shape of a flower on a wall. It was a simple image of a flower as if a child had made it, very simple and not technically accomplished. This work also recalls the expressiveness of childish creativity and the joy of playing. During the exhibition the flower started to change form, it started to melt into the wall as a result of the heat in the room. Again deconstruction of the structure comes in my art works.
